Artwork Guide

When placing an order with us you can upload your own artwork or we can design a unique artwork for you for a reasonable price.

UPLOADING YOUR OWN ARTWORK

What should be the format of the artwork?
The artwork should be in Press ready PDF (font embedded) format in CMYK with minimum 300dpi resolution. We process only in CMYK format. If there are any Spot colours in the artwork, it will be converted to CMYK.
RGB (Red, Green, Blue) - These are the primary colours of light which are best used for screen.
CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Keyline Black) - This colour spectrum is 4 colour which lends itself to full colour printing.
Converting all your artwork for printing from RGB to CMYK gives you more control over the final result of the colour. When we receive your artwork it is automatically converted to CMYK by our software. If it uses RGB, this gets changed to CMYK, but this may result in printed colours that are slightly different to your expectations. We can not be responsible for this and you should submit your artwork in the CMYK colour format.

What is Bleed?
We require Bleed to allow the tolerance of our guillotines (the machine used for cutting your job after printing). If any of the design finishes exactly at the edge of the required finished size, then without bleed, when the job is trimmed it causes slight white edges to the finished print. By extending the background colour or image beyond the edge of finished job, this defect can be rectified. We recommend that elements intended to go to the very edge of the finished job should extend 3mm beyond the edge.
For a standard business card it makes the final artwork 91mm x 51mm.

DESIGN SERVICES

When placing an order with us choose "Please design my artwork" option. In this case we will design a unique and professional flyer for you.

How does it work?

1. Place the order and choose "please design my artwork" option at the "Artwork" section

2. Pay for the order

3. Send us an e-mail to artwork@theleafletstore.ie with all the details of what you would like to include on your flyer. Try to be as detailed as possible.
It should include even the smallest details such as "I would like light blue background with a picture of cosy house and a happy middle age man cutting the grass with a headline of: Save time while cutting grass", etc.
You can also send a basic layout (if you have any) on a word document, or include pictures, example flyers, etc.

4. We will e-mail you a professional design within 48 hours. Once you receive it, you can get us to make changes on it 3 more times. It is important to be as specific as possible every time you want to make a change on it so that we will have your print ready artwork as quick as possible.

5. You give the final approval and we go ahead with the printing process. (At this point you can't make any more changes)
NOTE: We do not print any artworks without your approval.

6. We deliver your flyers to your door for free.

7. You enjoy more customers as the results of the Luxury Business Cards.

How can I place an order on the website?

Placing an order with us is quick, safe and simple.

We use PayPal to accept money online. It is one of the most secure ways to conduct online transactions. In 2013, more than 9 million payments were processed every day by PayPal.

You can pay with your debit or credit card, such as Visa, Visa Debit or Mastercard. You do not have to have a PayPal account in order to use it.

We, the seller never have any access to your card details or store them in any way.

The Step by Step Process of Placing an Order

▪ Choose the product you would like to order (such as "A5 Leaflets")

▪ Choose the different variations such as Paper, Sides, Quantity, Turnaround and Artwork according to your needs.

▪ If you have your own artwork, select "I have my print-ready artwork" option and then upload your artwork(s) just above the "Add to Cart" button. (You can also upload them after payment or send them to us via email).

If you don't have your own artwork, choose "Please design my artwork" option. In this case we will design an artwork for you from scratch. (After placing an order, send us an email to artwork@theleafletstore.ie with all the information you would like to include in your design).

▪ Click "Add to Cart"

▪ You will see a summary of your order which includes the VAT (23%) as well. Make sure there are no other items in the cart apart from the ones you selected.

▪ Click "Proceed to Checkout"

▪ (Step 1: Account Details) You can register an account with us so the next time you are placing an order you won't have to fill in your details again. Or you can choose "Check out as guest" option if you do not wish to register your details. Please note: Your card details never get saved in our system, even when you register an account.

▪ (Step 2: Billing Details) Fill out your details. These are your company details which will be VAT invoiced. (The phone number is needed for the courier). In the "ZIP/Postcode" section please put 0000 if not applicable. Click "Bill & Ship to this address" - if you want to use the same address for delivery.

▪ (Step 4: Shipping Method) Please tick "Free Shipping" and click on "Continue"

▪ (Step 5: Order Confirmation) A summary of your order. You can also apply any voucher codes if you have, or give certain instructions, for example notes to the courier such as "press middle bell at delivery", etc. Please also read and tick the "I agree with the terms and Conditions" section. Click on "Proceed to Payment"

▪ You are brought to the PayPal page. If you have a PayPal account you can enter your e-mail and password here. If you don't have a PayPal account, click on "Don't have a PayPal account?" section. This will give you the option of entering your card details. Please make sure you enter the same address that belongs to your card. (Goods will be delivered to the address you entered in Step 8). Click on "Pay"

PayPal then processes your card details.

▪ That's it. You are done! You are brought to the Order Confirmation Page where you can upload your artwork if you have any. You will also receive an order confirmation e-mail from us as well as a transaction confirmation e-mail from PayPal.
